Modern Weekly magazine commissioned me to illustrate a city map for the Jingdezhen edition.

As well known, Jingdezhen city is famous for porcelain businesses and industry, so I want to draw this city map following the traditional format of design patterns on celadon, including export porcelain. To highlight the river across the city, I took the art form of gold restoration, bonding broken porcelain tiles with melted gold. Thus, the bold lines on the map are the shape of the river.
