Created to celebrate the upcoming Year of the Horse, the installation draws inspiration from xiéyīn zhùfú (谐音祝福), a traditional Chinese cultural practice that conveys blessings through homophones. The central motif, “blooming flowers (花生),” is intentionally selected for its phonetic connection to fā shēng（发生）, meaning “good things are happening.” Through this wordplay, the work expresses wishes for vitality, growth, and auspicious beginnings in the year ahead.

The illustration translates linguistic symbolism into a contemporary visual language, creating a dialogue between tradition and a modern commercial space.
