kate spade Chinese Valentine’s Day Campaign
Commissioned by kate spade in collaboration with Yespai Gallery, this project was developed as a series of illustrations for Chinese Valentine’s Day, presented across retail and digital platforms in mainland China.
The concept draws from the Chinese idiom “love the house and its crow,” reinterpreted through the theme of affection extending to objects and everyday symbols. The narrative connects personal emotion with material culture, positioning the bag as both a gift and a carrier of meaning.
By combining playful storytelling with symbolic references, the work translates traditional ideas of love into a contemporary visual language aligned with the brand’s identity.
