Inspired by the iconic geometric structures of Issey Miyake’s BAO BAO and the brand’s rich historical archive, Yulong Lli created a series of narrative illustration posters celebrating the Lunar New Year.

Translating the signature triangular tessellations into a contemporary visual language, the posters harmonize avant-garde fashion design with festive symbolism. By combining structural precision, vibrant color fields, and dynamic graphic composition, the project reinterprets traditional New Year themes through a modern, sophisticated lens, capturing the timeless innovation embedded in Issey Miyake’s design philosophy.
