Dragon Boat Festival Workshop | Today at Apple

Invited by Today at Apple, illustrator Yulong Lli hosted a special community workshop at the Apple iapm store in Shanghai to celebrate traditional Chinese festivals through pictorial art.

In this session, Yulong shared his food-themed illustration practice and used Shanghai’s traditional Dragon Boat Festival delicacies as a visual starting point. He guided participants through exploring local food culture and digital drawing techniques, helping everyone design their own custom Dragon Boat Festival posters on iPad.

The workshop bridged traditional heritage with contemporary visual storytelling, encouraging attendees to express seasonal culture through personal creative perspectives.
