Gucci | Botanical Ceramics

Commissioned by Gucci, this bespoke ceramic series explores the dialogue between luxury heritage and tactile craftsmanship. Drawing inspiration from Gucci’s iconic silk scarf motifs, specifically its heritage Flora botanicals and structured bamboo elements, Yulong translates fluid 2D silk illustrations into three-dimensional ceramic forms.

By rendering intricate floral patterns and organic bamboo silhouettes onto the surfaces of hand-sculpted ceramic vessels and plates, Yulong harmonizes the Italian house’s timeless elegance with Eastern material aesthetics. Each piece serves as a tribute to nature’s enduring rhythm, capturing the painterly, delicate glazes and structural poetry embedded within Gucci’s visual identity.
