This project explores the relationship between Swiss and Chinese folk art through shared visual structures and cultural motifs.

Both traditions reflect rural life, seasonal rituals, and decorative symbolism, often expressed through symmetry, repetition, and floral ornamentation. These parallels create a visual dialogue that connects two distinct cultures through familiar patterns and compositional logic.

By combining these references within a more graphic and contemporary framework, the work translates traditional aesthetics into a modern visual language, balancing ornament with clarity.
