Exhibition Moment for Hug
This exhibition explores intimacy through the gesture of a hug, where bodies become both language and medium. For Yulong, intimacy extends beyond romantic relationships into a broader field of connection between individuals, environments, and emotional states.
Through interconnected figures and soft, continuous forms, the works dissolve boundaries between self and other, proposing touch as a shared space of presence and exchange. The hug, in this context, becomes a quiet yet powerful structure, an embodied moment where difference, distance, and identity are temporarily suspended.
Rather than defining intimacy, the exhibition leaves it open, fluid, and constantly unfolding within each encounter.
